NPECRU Remembers Rugby Legend “SIR BRIAN LOCHORE ; OBE-KNZM-ONZ”

SIR BRIAN LOCHORE IS PICTURED HERE ATTENDING THE VETERANS REUNION AT WHAKARUA PARK IN 2009 WHICH COINCIDED WITH A HEARTLAND MATCH BETWEEN NPEC AND WAIRARAPA BUSH.

THERE WILL BE A SERVICE FOR SIR BRIAN THIS THURSDAY AT 1PM AT MEMORIAL PARK, MASTERTON.

The Wairarapa Bush Rugby Union has also set up a tribute room for Sir Brian Lochore at the WBRU Clubhouse Dixon Street Masterton

On show are the Webb Ellis World Cup, The Lochore Cup and many photos and newspaper articles of his life and times.

A tribute book will also be available for anyone who wishes to write a few words

Passed away in Masterton 3rd August 2019 , aged 78
